G75 GTX 670MX Overclocking for Battlefield 3

I bought my G75VX on Sunday and have been downloading and playing the games I bought. Im using MSI Afturburner and have the gpu at +135Mz and memory at +225Mz. I started playing Battlefield 3 with Ultra settings with AA off and in the campaign I was averaging around 44 fps. When I started in multiplayer, I was getting below 10 fps!!!:confused::mad: Im wondering what the best fps vs graphics I can get and if I can have any more room for overclocking the gpu. This is my first laptop for gaming/video editing, so im still learning its capabilities. Thanks in advance!

Strange... I play 64 player servers all the time and average 40-100 FPS depending on the stuff going on around me.

lol yea there is definatly something that is rinsing your fps.. Your gonna have to try narrow it down to whats causing that.. I have no idea what it could be you gotta be more specific, but basic first question is are you sure its plugged in ??

Ideally you should be able to run bf3 maxed out 64 players with 0 issues..

I took the settings down from ultra to high and now I hardly see the fps go below 50. Im used to custom built desktops. Thanks for the help. Btw, has anyone overclocked their gpu above 735Mhz?

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Now I can become a hermit and never sleep again!! I'm still new to over clocking, but messing with coding, I'm comfortable with.

I do not know how you guys manage to play the game at those settings?
I have the G75vw with a 670M running at 750 / 1790 and trying to play for example karkan 64p with high/ultra is a no go.

I must have 60fps at al time with v-sync on ofc, smalest drop below 60 will put me off game and makes me go crazy when the game play is uneven so playing at high/ultra with an fps going from 20-50 would kill the gameplay for me.

Gues some ppl have less demands then others 🙂

FOV: 90
Fullscreen: On
Mesh Quality: Ultra
Motion Blur: on
Motion Blur Amount: 51
Resolution: 1920x1080
Shadow Quality: Ultra
Terrain Decoration: High
Texture Quality: Ultra
I have been averaging 58 fps on Metro with 64 players.;):cool:
