I am trying to troubleshoot 2 G74SX motherboards and am wondering what are the minimum steps needed to power on a motherboard from the battery. Basically, I want to power the motherboard from the battery and turn it on, without having to actually install the motherboard and connect all the cables and components. The one cable I do want to connect is the lvds cable, so that I can test the display and also use the display to confirm that the motherboard is working.
