G74SX microphone issue

My internal microphone picks up random noises from miles away and sometimes it gets really annoying for my friends when I'm taking to them through Skype. Is it just me or do all G74 mics work this way? If not, is there any way I can fix it? Thanks in advance.

By random noises do you mean radio stations? If that's the case then you have an interference problem.

No, I just exaggerated by saying "miles" lol, I meant that it's too sensitive and people I'm talking to can hear conversations going on two or sometimes three rooms away.
