The lid and palm rest of my G74SX has gone all rubbery and tacky and I haven't a clue why, I didn't wipe it down with any liquids or chemicals, usually just dust it off with a cloth. It was stored on a shelf while I was in hospice and when it was brought to me it was just like it was rubbery and extremely sticky.
Is there something I can do short of replacing the case (at least the lid) to make this usable again? Can't use it like it is as it grabs dust / lint / hairs / dirt etc and I MEAN it grabs everything to stick on it.
