G74sx Drivers help

Okay, I just re-installed windows 8 in order to wipe my computer because it was getting slow, I junked it up pretty badly so I just wanted a fresh start, and I've wiped it once before and didnt download the drivers. This time I really want to download the drivers and take care of my baby.

So, I googled G74sx drivers and I found a page that I believe was made by ASUS (hopefully) and it had 36 drivers.

My question is; Where should I get my drivers from, and which drivers should I download, because on the page I found, i would click on a link to the driver and it would give me three options... I'm starting to get confused, keep in mind that my computer DID NOT COME WITH A CD.

If anyone could help me out to get back to doing primals inf FFXIV without lagging it'll be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I reinstalled my system a few weeks ago (becasue my hard-drive died). My computer is working fine.

My laptop's model is: G74SX-XT1 - my WIFI card is Atheros, you may have Intel WIFI card.

I downloaded all of the drivers from Asus website (only Audio Drivers directly from realtek website).

I installed the following drivers (in the following order. It is highly recommended to install the Chipset driver first.):

Chipset
Intel Rapid Storage Technology
VGA (Graphic card)
Audio
LAN
USB 3
Card Reader
Touchpad (Synaptics)
WIFI (Atheros)
KB Filter
ATK Package
BT (Atheros)

I didn't let Windows Update to install any updates (drivers), before I installed the ASUS drivers.

You are welcome.
I am not an expert, so I can't assure you for 100%, but I believe they will. Windows 7 and 8 are very similar systems. (Probably they will work on all Windows systems.)
Normally when you downloand programs/drivers there is an information that they work on systems: Windows Vista/7/8

kk tyvm again, where should i download the Intel Rapid Storage Technology, should i just google for the main page and download it from there?

sorry to keep asking all these questions, i should just edit my posts, but which wireless (wifi) driver should i download, the latest one they have on that page? or the Atheros one?

and I think I updated my VGA through the Nvidia software, or do I have to download it from the asus driver site

I downloanded the Atheros one. (Either Atheros or Intel, but my card is Atheros, I guess most of the laptops have Atheros card)
You can download VGA driver from the Asus website. It is official driver from Nvidia, it will update automatically to the newest version after connecting to the internet.
