G74SX-BBK11 Throttling and many other issues

I have had this thing for a year, now and about to pass this thing onto my brother and it seems to be throttling all of the sudden even though I have trottlestop on, and Razer gamebooster on. It also starts up really slow, and if you start up a program to early the desktop and task bar doesn't respond to the point I have to shut it off by the power button. This issue has been happening every since I got it.

Fixed it! Merged treads into appropriate subforum. No problems at all about the double-post, it's an easy fix.

I would suggest a deep cleaning, canned air or other methods (research here) and then back up your files and go for a clean install leaving out all of the software that came from Asus.
