G74 strange issues?

I recently got a Asus G74 but it seems to have some issues allready 😕

First for me is that the only fn keys that work for me is the fn+f1 for sleepmode and fn+f5-6 for the screen while everything else is innactive. So im unable to turn on the keyboard lighting or change the sound while gaming.

The 2nd issue i got seems to be that my windows explorer.exe crashes when i try to enter my computer. this seems to happen randomly and once it gave me the message thatmy computer dont have enough memory to run explorer.exe:(

Any one here knows how to fix these issues?

if i'm not mistaken i saw that a new nvidia driver release is supposed to fix the hdmi sound thing.

from all the posts i have concluded that the asus g74 was a failure, plauged by faulty hardware and faulty software. i think that anyone who has these sorts of problems with the laptop should kindly return it, and choose a different laptop.

i feel that asus rushed these for whatever reason and that the problem is ultimately a result of that. the only other possible explanation is that every person who posts a problem about their g74, is stupid, and since i doubt that very much, the laptop is garbage and should never have been produced.

Im not saying that the laptop is bad but it is faulty...
The cooling system is fantastic and so far ive had no issue with ither the sound or graphics.
It is also easly to upgrade Ram and Storage space since those are easly located.

But none the less the keyboard is buggy and the software is faulty something that they should have adressed before the released the product...

None the less i got 2 Year Guarantee so if a bug casues the laptop to fail i should get a free repair due to producer error.
