G74 keyboard problem

I recently noticed that my keyboard back-lights are not working. It lights up during boot up, but they the lights go out and do not come back on. Any suggestions?
ASUS G74SX-XT1
Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.0GHz,
16GB DDR3,
500GB HDD + 750GB Secondary HDD
3GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M (296.10)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Sentelic TP, BIOS version 203

mmm you tried fn-f4 to adjust its brightness? sometimes i have lights on but its brightness is to a minimum so it doesn't turn on...

If the hotkeys don't solve it, try to do a "repair" of the ATK Package in Programs and Features.
Or re-install the ATK Package. When re-installing it, it's best to clean the registry with CCleaner
just after un-installation.
