G73sw power adapter issue

Hi its me again with my anceint g73sw xD Thanks to your previous help I managed to fix it a few times now replacing gpu etc. and i would like to thank you all
again for helping me in the past 🙂

Now I come back with yet more silly questsions I cant find the answer for in the web, so recently my power adapter was ocassionaly disconecting from pc for no aparent reason (as in nothing phisical i would know of happened to it). Twisting it around would ussualy solve the probelm and though it was happening more and more often I didnt want to replace the adapter because I cant buy the original asus one anywhere, and I cant figure out which 3rd party ones wouldnt behave funny.

So now It had it with me and it doesnt work at all and I cant turn the laptop on 😜 the wierd thing is I checked both plug and the adapter with multimeter and it looks like they are both working fine in all places, and i cant make sense of it, its like something moved in one of them and now they cant touch eachother maybe ?

My question is what can i do to fix that ?If anyone had this issue before or knows a reputable 3rd party adapter i could try to buy instead it would be great 🙂

EDIT: Oh and also if anyone knows a place where fixing asus adapter is explained i would most apprecatie it since it seems to be completely differently constructed than all the jack soldering guides i found on youtube.

I found a part on eBay for $6 that EXCEEDED the specs of the original ASUS jack.

That was a year or so ago. The laptop is running fine.

I see that seller is selling the same part FOR EVEN LESS MONEY NOW!!!!

There is a small green light on the power adapter.

When you plug the power adapter into the electric wall outlet, does the light come on?

When you power the laptop (power plug into side of laptop) does the light on the power adapter go out?
