I've done plenty of research to see what I'll need to do to upgrade my G73SW and I'm ready to lay down some cash for the GPU. Can any one please confirm I'm on the right track here?
Components:
G73SW 2D with 2860QM
Clevo GTX780M 4GB
g7jh gpu heatsink
230w HP power brick with adaptor
Will a stock Asus 780M Vbios work? ie. from Tech power up.
Does anyone have to a good guide on modifying the nvami.inf to get the drivers to install?
I believe HMDI does not work in 680M upgrades? Anyone know if I will have the same problem with the 780M?
Any other advice/comments welcome. I'm going the 780M because it's within my price range. Won't be overclocking.
