G73sw 3d packed with no glasses

I have a curious issue with my new G73sw 3d version laptop my parents bought for me. It came packed with everything (backpack, mouse) but no 3d glasses. Is this the case for some 3d packages or did i get ripped off? my parents contacted the company about the glasses and they said that it doesn't come with glasses. I felt a little confused as why they would sell a 3d laptop without 3d glasses... I'm really worried here. we contacted the guy again to purchase the glasses seperately and he said it would cost $400. I'm pretty sure that the glasses only cost around $200 max in amazon. So it got me more worried. (ps Parents bought the laptop in indonesia)

Another curiosity was: can we use any 3d glasses to use on the G73sw? or do we need the nvidia glasses specifically?

yes any works...actualy even polarized ones do but you have to set the software...
if you ordered the 3de version it should come on an nvidia box...unless you order a regular SW and added the 3D glasses as extra

It Is definitely the 3d version. It has the emitters around the camera. Should I take this as a serious issue and demand my glasses. Or is there some cases where the 3d version doesn't come with glasses.

yes...thats at least $200 worth....I got te G73SW-3DE and the glasses actualy came on an individual nVidia 3D Vsion Box...

The 3DE models come with glasses. What retailer did you get it from?

Can I get a definite confirmation that ALL 3d models should come with the glasses so I can take it up with the company?

If you buy a "3DE" designated model yes it comes with an originaly Box nVidia 3D Vision glasses...If you didnt get a 3DE model and just a regular SW then no...
