I have to re-install windows 7 on a new hdd, the original is old and will not function properly. Opening the boot menu will not display the Blu ray player to run the disc. i do not have an external drive to install with. Is there any other way to install windows?

is BIOS able to recognize? how is before same not recognize?

It will recognize the Sliptype player but it will say "reboot and select a proper boot device or insert boot media and select a boot device and press any key" after selecting it as the boot device.

I'll try to put windows on a usb and do it that way, i found a site that list a few ways to do it. Let you know if successful or not.
