G73JW Odd "blank/white screen" on random boots. Fine once Win7 loads.

Any one else ever get this? 3rd clean install with W7 64bit. Only happens sporadically usually from a cold boot. I'm on bios 205, am using ONLY official ASUS provided drivers found here in sticky or from ROG site. Everything is stock - no O/C, etc. Any ideas? It makes getting in to the bios a pain, as the entire LCD screen goes white. Usually goes away after a reboot, but is driving me nuts. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I am running 100% stock speed, clean install on 64bit Win7 with SP1 and all updates, ONLY official ASUS provided drivers. TIA.

It has only just started happening. it possibly coincided with my battery starting to fail, or my screen getting cracked slightly, i also recently just got my very first blue screen error. Not sure if anything is related but it all seemed to start happening at the same time. 1 year old.

To fix the white screen i take the battery out for about a minute (possibly to reset the bios) and run it without the battery in
