G73JH-X3

Hey there,

I'm receiving my G73JH in the next few days and after a fair bit of research due to the influx of fixes that are needed to be done to prevent any issues, I just need to clarify some things.

What is the list of things I am meant to do the moment I start it up the first time?

Am I meant to firstly flash the BIOS using 213 and follow the steps from this website?

http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/486047-g73jh-bios-update-step-step-newbie...

And then secondly, flash the vBIOS from this section?

And from there, if I was on the right track, is there anything else that demands attention?

Thanks all

I would also upgrade to Win7 SP1 BEFORE running Windows Update to avoid hundreds of tiny updates 🙂

Sorry for bothering you again but I noticed after installing all the drivers and the methods proposed above that upon checking the Windows Experience Index, everything is around the 7 mark but the graphics and gaming graphics show some pretty bizarre ratings.

The Graphics displays a 5.9 and the Gaming graphics displays a 2.0???

I've already installed the video drivers.
