G73JH WIN7-64x Strange freeze problem

Hi guys i am writing from italy so i am sorry for my terrible eng but i gotta ask you the solution of my problem. My g73jh freezes randomly and this is very annoying but this doesn t happen because of overheating, in fact the temperature is normal. Pc freezes only on some web sites (like when i click on my profile on youtube or when i click on play in this link http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Music_disc in the down side, for example) or after render a video with camtasia, pinnacle and others just when preview starts. Take a look at http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?8943-G73-Freezing-Crashing-Issue-WORKAROUND-FOUND. Perhaps ThrottleStop may be a workaround for your lockup issue as well.

I do everything i had to do with throttlestop but it still happens. I have no idea how to solve this terrible problem.

I think you need to be more specific on exactly what you did to configure ThrottleStop. As a workaround for the G73JH/JW Lockups/BSOD's it is important to use ThrottleStop to disable the lower power mode C-States of the CPU. I suggest you PM @unclewebb or @nuke235 for proper configuration specific to this issue.

i follow the guide you link me that is i put 1 c , performance mode, turbo mode i checked only set multiplier and eist, in the options ati gpu.

When you say your system freezes, is it temporary or does your system lock up, so you must hold down the Power On button to recover?

Do you notice any video artifacts, tearing, or stuttering prior to the freezes?

What version video driver are you currently running?

What version BIOS?

What version vbios?

My screen freezes now even much often. It happens that the screen freezes irremediably and i have to hold down power button. The bios is 213 video drivers are 8.892.0.0 of radeon 5800 . I don t know how show the vbios version i m sorry cause i m a bit poor with pc.

What Antivirus, AntiMalware, Firewall, Remote Access, or Disk Management software have you installed to your system? These programs are the usual suspects in driver conflicts that lead to system lockups.

Do the Errors and Warnings of the Windows System or Application Event Logs point to any troubleshooting direction? Report them by EventID, Source, and exact text of the Description.

i use the last version of avast pro, ad-aware and not other security softwares. When the screen freezes or when i restart system no warnings or errors appear.
