G73JH Hard Drive/SSD Upgrades?

This thing has 1 500gig 5600RPM drive in it..

Im looking to upgrade to an SSD Boot Drive, and a 2nd SATA drive for storage.

The problem Im running into is.. which ones does this thing support?

(I use Newegg and Amazon, nothing else.)

Will this thing hold a standard 2.5" SATA3 6GB/s 7200RPM Drive?

Any advice/Links would be greatly appreciated.. while I love Newegg Customer service, the idea of ordering the wrong thing would just ruin my weekend. lol

The 2.5 is standard. Anything that size will "fit". You know..... for about $20.00 more you could get a SSD double the size you're looking at. I feel the same about TigerDirect. Very good customer service and very fast shipping.

Yeah that's newegg... the link I give is for the 128GB SSD.. but for some reason it's defaulting to the 64GB page. lol. 😉

But yeah, Im lookin at the 128GB SSD for a boot drive/ FFXIV ARR.. then a 1TB Storage for everything else. 🙂

Good to know they will fit.. now just gotta wait on my meager paycheck. Thanks!
