G73JH Freezing When Activating Twin Turbo Mode

Ok my pc has never done this. I just got a bigger hard drive and reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Computer runs great EXCEPT when I press the Twin Turbo Mode button. In about 3 seconds it freezes and I have to hold in the power button and restart the pc. Does it every time I press the button. It did NOT do this with Windows 8 Pro installed. Any ideas guys?

Another quirky thing that just happened. When checking my installed RAM it dropped from 16gb to 8gb. Strange.

please reinstall atk driver and new BIOS to test.
