G73JH Black screen during games

Recently, I've started having a problem where, while playing DotA2, my screen at a point during a match turns black, while everything else continues running. I got a second monitor and mirrored the images, after closing DotA2, a little while later the screen seems to flicker a little then go back to normal. I thought it could be an overheating issue, so I disassembled everything and repasted my GPU/cleaned up/etc, everything is now running in a much lower temperature, but the problem persists.

Well, problem may be solved for me.

I did error checking and bad sector repair of every drive. But I think drive C is what solved the issue. LCD screen works fine for two months now.

Don't know how or why but coincidence or not it's worth a try for those with random black screen.

Blue random pixels on a black background does seem to suggest something wrong with the GPU. Especially if these are also on the exteral display.

Best way to check is to run in vga only mode, if the blue pixels disappear your GPU is dead for anything but vga.
