G73jh 770m GPU upgrade success

Hello.
So it can be confirmed that olding like G73jh can be upgraded to latest of nvidia gtx series. I must confess one thing though when thinking about this machine first thing that comes to mind is zombie
Becouse it involves merging 4mb bios file of g73jh with g73jw plus moding video bios to get standard mxm 3.0b gpu be recocgnised by system.
All this was neccessary becouse without bios mod there is not support for nvidia gpus in system bios but g73jw has neccessary callbacks and thus is involved in this mod. Even inside bios settings it is shown as g73jw now and all other programs like HWinfo shows it as that.
With original unmodded bios there is no backlight on internal lcd before windows log in screen is loaded and both fans are on full throttle constantly.

is there link to this bios? is it fully unlocked? is it possible to use a GTX780?

I have a Asus ROG G72jh with a non Working HD5870 okay ..

to update this notebook ? :

So if I understand it correctly:

1. A GTX770M for example Aliexpress (does not matter what the) buy

2. the Bioschip against a swap from the G73JW (Original image not modified)

3. Install the GTX770M and adapt cooler

Do I need a different power supply in the connection?

I can solder, I have an esd compliant workplace and have often bioschips resoldered

even if the contribution is older I hope better I hope for a response.

1. Eine GTX770M bei zb Aliexpress ( ist das egal welche ) kaufen

2. den Bioschip gegen einen vom G73JW tauschen ( Original image kein modifiziertes )

3. die GTX770M einbauen und den cooler anpassen

Brauche ich ein anderes Netzteil im anschluss ?

Ich kann löten ,ich habe eine esd konforme arbeitsplatz und habe schon öfters bioschips umgelötet

auch wenn der beitrag schon älter ist hoffe ich besser ich hoffe auf eine antwort .

Hello. I took my old asus rog G73jh laptop off the shelf and read this topic. I found a 770m video card from asus https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/GTX-770-3-N14E-GS-A1-VGA-Asus-ROG/32850818674.html?spm=a2g0v.search01... (cheap). But I still did not understand until the end what work on the BIOS firmware was done. Can anyone understand this issue?
