To flash: Easiest method is to place ROM file on a formatted USB flashdrive (FAT/FAT32) and use EZ-Flash BIOS utility, accessed by hitting F2 during laptop POST / Startup

Anyone got another link to the Windows 7 ISO... desperately need to get Windows 7 installed before flying out to Copenhagen for work tomorrow.

Download gets about 1/3 in and fails due to failed read from source.

Chastity Atheros WiFi AR5B95/AR9285 v9.2.0.113 (default Wifi card) (8/16/11) takes me to a website and has me download a program called driver boost. I have to pay for the program it seems in order for me to download the drivers through them.

I just bought a G53SW-XN1 and I did the BIOS update and the keyboard backlight and volume buttons stopped working. I tried to use the "Loss of Keyboard Lights After Flashing BIOS" fix but it is an invalid URL. Anyone have a working link?

nVidia GTX 460M. I went to the ASUS website and got the driver. Anything else you recommend downloading as far as drivers and updates go? Good programs to have? Thanks again

Update your Atheros wifi driver to 9.2.1.432. (It's in that post)

The nvidia driver at Asus is sort of old, but it's the newest stable one. If you're gonna be playing bf3 you want 285.38 (also in that post)

HWInfo64 is good to monitor your temps.

OK I got the wifi driver and HWInfo but the link in the first post for the video driver is broken. I tried this one "[JW/SW/SX] Modified 285.27 Beta for NVIDIA (for those who cannot use the normal Verde Beta package)".
