hye, have you manage to solve your problem? my g55vw also encounter some problem where one of the components in the mb fried and caused no backlight on the screen. i dont know what component is that and when i try to send for repiar they said buy new mb instead. the mb was still functional because i can connect it to external monitor and i dont wanna waste money on buying new mb.
