G55VW - 16Gb 1600MHz ?

Good day. I've installed 4 units of Hynix HMT351S6BFR8C-H9 4+4+4+4 = 16Gb ... memory to my notebook. Increased multiplier to x12 (1.33х12=1600). Set timings to 11-11-11-28 T2 , RFC128 - RRD5 - WR12 - WTR6 - RTP6 - FAW24 - WCL7.
When I turn my notebook on multiplier gets reset to x10 in 2 cases out of 3. Memory at 1600MHz is stable both in games applications and memtest86.
BIOS is v. 209. Asus G55VW [90nb7c232w3162vd13ay]
Could you please suggest what the problem is?

I know this post is 12 years old but I just wanted to let people know how valuable OLD information can be. Many Google searches only turned up more modern methods that my laptop is just a little too old for. I even contacted ASUS technical support to find out how to downgrade the BIOS on my old Q500A laptop and they had no clue (I think I got a Chat monkey). This Ctrl+Home+Power on to enter BIOS recovery flash worked! Thanks for keeping this post active.
