Be careful! everything is done at your own risk! Before you put the file on the C: drive, make sure there is no copy of the bios backup already (in my case, it was there!). To be sure you need your folder configured to show hidden files and display the file extension.

1. Download bios version 206 or older 204 and unzip it to C: drive (preferably bootable)
2. Change the name and manually set the extension to "BIN"

3. Additionally, make a backup copy and put it to usb flash (no more than 2GB FAT) and plug it to your laptop
4. Make sure that laptop battery is charged and the laptop is plugged in
5. Turn off the laptop
6. Press
Ctrl + Home key combination and hold it
7. Holding the combination turn the laptop on
8. You need to wait a bit still holding the combination while the laptop starts its bios recovery system (it starts to search for the bios image automatically)
9. Once you see the flasher window you can release the button combination and wait - Laptop will switch itself off
10. After this procedure, start the laptop (it will take 2 attempts), go to the bios setup and make sure the version is changed there
11. Keep in mind you'll need to re-adjust your settings
12. It's recomended to remove the battery to reset the settings and to avoid glitches (I ignored this item)
13. having bios version 204 you can use built-in BIOS flasher
p.s. It's easy with some experience, was forced to do it because the technical support (RU) ignored me. The restore operation works on most Asus laptops at home (tested by me)
