I have ROG G551JM with 60GB mSATA drive.
Back when I had Win 8, I had it partitioned into 32GB for expresscache and rest as hibernation partition.
After updating to Win 10, the hibernation partition stopped working (system won't even hybernate, if I pressed the hibernate button or closed the lid, it just turned off, and the boot time was even longer than when I shut down the system properly), so I reserved all the space for the expresscache and disabled hibernation completely (even when closing lid)
Expresscache was working properly until update I did few days ago (one that took about 2 hours) and since then the expresscache cannot mount the partition.
I've even cleaned the SSD (few times actually) with diskpart, but immediatelly after cleaning, the partition was created again, and even after changing it's id to 73 (according to
this post), it was restored back (I suppose).
So I don't even know whether it is problem with expresscache, or some other program is creating a partition on the mSATA drive.
Does anybody have similar problem, or can anybody help me fix the expresscache (and possibly the hibernation) problem?
