G551JM-DH71-CA vs G771JM-DH71-CA

Hi,

I recently purchased the G551JM-DH71-CA. However, due to screen issues, it was dead on arrival and I had to sent it in to Asus.

Asus has offered to replace the defective model with the G771JM-DH71-CA.

My understanding is that these models are identical, except for the following:

• Screen size (15.6" vs 17.3")
  
• Memory (8GB vs 12GB)
  
• Weight and Dimensions (obviously considering the larger screen size)
  

Are these models different in any other way? Is the G771JM in any way worse than the G551JM?

I also understand that the G551JM and G771JM have cooling issues. Does the size of the G771JM make it any worse in this regard?
