Hello

So I have an SDHC card with an adapter plugged into the slot on the laptop. This works great in windows 8 but I want to boot Linux with it but I can't find it in the BIOS. Do I have to boot from a USB?

Thanks

Seems like that will be your choice. Alternatively, you might get away with an adapter from SDHC to USB, though I doubt it.

Not sure if this can help, but if you have not already, try to disable 'secure boot' in the bios, enable 'launch csm', save and exit, and check back in the bios to see if anything changes for the better under the boot menu?

Sorry about the late response, but sadly I have tried this to no avail.
