G551JM AudioJack Problem ((Help))

Hey Everyone,

Today I just got the chance to install Windows 10 for my G551JM laptop. After I install the Windows 10, and I realized that my Audio Jack does not have any output sound. It gives me selection of Headphone, Speaker Out, and Headset, but it has no sound at all. Laptop speakers are fine nothing wrong with it, but the headphone Jack does not have any output sound. I uninstall the driver and reinstall, I Still have no luck with it..... Please help me . . . Much thanks everyone.

Call the customer service for the problem~! they told me remove the battery and hold power for 30 seconds. works like charm now.!

Just a power cycle, huh? Interesting fix. Perhaps Windows needed to be fully shut down? That hybrid boot/shutdown causes problems sometimes.

Would be interested in knowing whether anyone else with this issue has success with the same suggestion. 🙂
