G551 vs G55

Dont know a whole lot about computers. What is better, the G55VW or the G551jm?

The G551 has more current hardware, of which is also more capable than what the G55VW sports. Build quality on both is pretty good.

The G551 is the better laptop here as far as potential/capability goes.

So given the option you would go with the G551? My G55VW is going to be replaced. I dont want a 17 inch notebook so I believe the only choices are either a refurbished G55 or a G551. How is the G551 sound quality?
