G53SW better power adapters?

Is there any better power adapters out there for it other than the default one

Higher output or somthing like that

Would a more powerfull one increase fps and help throttle issue?

I don't think so, the throttle issue and fps doesn't have anything to do with a power supply.

Power supply doesn't work that way. The machine requires a certain amperage, and that's what it will draw from the transformer. So if you plug it into a brick that can provide higher amperage, it still just draws its spec requirement and the overhead goes unused.

another question, if i was to buy ddr5 ram or 1600mhz would that show any increase

If you switched to 1600MHz RAM, you may get higher benchmark numbers. If you could tell a difference in actual use, I will eat my laptop. On YouTube.

DDR5....do you mean adding graphics memory? I don't think that's possible in these machines.

About the 1600, it depends on your BIOS. I don't know the G53's too well. Mine runs at full speed with 2 sticks of 1866, but defaults back to 1333 with 4 sticks. See what I mean? It depends on the BIOS.

Perhaps some other G53 owners will chime in.
