Retired
Not applicable
Good day ROG people. I really need your help. I have an asus G53jw which i accidentaly update the bios in wrong version(maybe) because there is no power, no sign of any activity when i turn on the laptop. They advice me to change the motherboard so I ordered at ebay and now the new one arrived but after in change the mother board and plug in the power adaptor it automatically turn on the laptop without pushing the power button and the lights turning on with a blackscreen and the fan where running. it stays like that. Is there any way to solve this? any instructions to change a motherboard with this kind of laptop? I ruin my waranty service now 😞 so please help me..

If ever my warranty is void, can i still send it back to asus service center for a repair? even if i pay?

You bricked you rnotebook. Did you use Winflash or EasyFlash?

Anyway, read this - http://www.asusrog.com/forums/showthread.php?4803-ASUS-US-amp-Canada-RMA-Guide It should be similar in France but with different contact information.
Read the User's Manual for more info. 😄

Though bricked, your original motherboard could've been salvaged by ASUS using special equipment to change the faultly firmware. I'm not sure how to recover from your current situation with the new motherboard. I know JR recently brought a machine back from a black screen death in http://www.asusrog.com/forums/showthread.php?5541-NEW-G74SX-WONT-TURN-ON-PLEASE-HELP!!!

If that fails, I'd think ASUS or another qualified shop would happily accept your money to repair your laptop out of warranty.
