G531GW screen imperfections - What is this?

I've had numerous laptops over the years, all cheaper than my G531GW, I've never experienced a single issue with my screen. Here after a few months, these have appeared. From a distance seems like a bit of hair or something but upon closer inspection it's a dimming of the pixels. Do you agree? Would this be covered by a warranty?

Looks like nibs to me.

What happens if you gently rub the affected screenparts in the affected area? Does the position change?
