G51J backlit KB problem - description & question re. cable
Hi everyone,
I have an older G51J on which the KB backlit stopped working some time ago. About a week ago i popped the KB and jiggled the little cable that powers the backlit kb and it started working instantly. Yesterday it stopped working again and i tried the same thing however this time nothing happened. It feels to me like it is more the cable i should try to replace rather than the whole kb. Does anyone know where to shop for one of these cables, what its model # is, how to search for it, etc?
I don't mind to spent AUD $110 to replace the whole KB but would prefer to first try to replace the cable.
