G501jw and playing AC Syndicate on graphics high settings?

my g501jw is the gtx960 2gb version.
when i played assassin creed syndicate with high setting graphic, the vram of gpu is over the limit. but in game performance it still smooth-played with 40 fps average. is it okay to keep play with the high setting which is overlimit vram gpu even thou the performance still playable

Well in my opinion, if you really want to play the game in high quality all the time, change the video resolution from 1920*1080 to 13..something. A resolution lower than your screen's resolution. It would also enhance the fps. And change to FXAA
