G46VW Virtulization (VT-d) supported?

After much pain and suffering, I managed to setup a XEN inside of debain get a windows 8.1 vm installed and running.
The whole reason that I used XEN was for the graphics pass-through capabilities.
I then discovered that the stock Core i5 (3210m), does not support VT-d. however a mobile i7 does (such as a 3820qm).
Could someone who has upgraded their G46 to an i7 (Not all compatible i7s will have it) tell me if VT-d works?
I know some motherboards do not support VT-d and I don't want to buy an i7 for it to not work.
Thanks!

After finding the chip-set for the G46VW (HM77) in ark (A painful website sometimes) i see that it does not support VT-d... So to answer my own question: no.
