Hey All!
I am running Windows 10, however even when I was running windows 8.1 before I switched to 10 I had the same issue.
My original HDD died. So instead of going with another HDD I decided to upgrade to an SSD.
Works no problem, windows boots super fast. However I no longer had the factory image have you of windows.
I am fairly certain I have installed all the drivers that are listed on the asus site.
From usb 3.0 to usb 3.0 no matter what ports I'm getting speeds of 17-19 Mbps which to me is slower than a turtle and more like a slug.
Even if I switch from the policies from Quick Removal to Better perfomance I see no difference.
I also updated my bios to G46VW.210 to see if that made a difference.
I'm not sure if it's some driver/firmware I'm missing, or a certain setting in the bios I don't have set properly, but I've spent days upon days trying to figure this out on my own. So I'm throwing up the white flag asking for help.
