I just picked up a G46VW last week and am really happy with it. It's a serious upgrade from my old socket 939 system. I installed a Crucial M4 256 gig MSATA SSD alongside the 750 gig hybrid drive in there, re-installed Windows 8 onto the SSD (What a major pain that was!), and got it all loaded with the latest drivers from the Asus website. Everything works great except when I close the lid and put it to sleep, the sound never comes back on until I reboot the machine.
Is this a known issue, or did I make a mistake when re-installing everything?
