G46 - possible to add msata?

Hi all! The G46VW is now available in the US from Best Buy .... with a 750GB HD BUT NO MSATA. Is it possible for user upgrade to add an Msata to the G46? How accessible is the msata slot?

i just got to the installation of window 7 ... after 6 hours!!! to save you guys sometime, don't and do not plan on installing win7 on uefi mode, i have tried every possible method available atm. Did not work. so i went on installing it from boot selection of generic usb which worked flawlessly in less than 5 min... i should of saved myself sometime from the start -____- spent the whole day working on this g46 but hey atleast i got my ssd in n bootime is like... zero seconds =D

have you changed your bios options?
1. disable fast boot;
2. disable secure boot control;
3. enable launch csm.

for uefi install, you should be able to create the usb install disk via this method. use esc key to access the uefi:

yeah i tried that, the listed uefi usb will install only up to the window's loading file then it display an error message, after that it will not load. so i selected the none uefi usb that it listed right under and it works, anyways thanks i got my win7 running without uefi n there's not a bit difference,

Nice setup there! 🙂 I have EFI boot disabled on my G53SX (the default) so that problem doesn't exist for me.
