Can someone please point me in a good direction for ram timing. For a g751JL? I just put in 32gb of 2133 and it regesters as 1600mhz. The bios dosent have a manual timing menu and the uefi route jyst loads into my bios.
The motherboard was jyst replaced due to a missing ram slot issue. The ram registers as 2133 but its being timed to 1600.
There are no settings to change, its all picked up by SPD. Are you sure all the sticks are 2133 and not at least one 1600 stick in there? Are you sure its running at 1600?
The CPUZ can be a bit confusing. I have the same sticks in my G751JL and in the SPD it shows the part number as 2133 but max badwidth as 1600. Now change that one window back to memory and you can clearly see the clock speed on mine is 1065.7 at the moment of screen capture which when multiplied by 2 gives you a Dual Data Rate of 2131.4 Close enough to 2133 IMO.
