Hey guys i just bought a refurbished Asus G74SX- XR1 and should be reciving it soon :D, but anyways i would like to know what programs you guys use in order to test/maintain/tweak the components for your machines. I wanted to get a sort of list going so other people can easily find what they're looking for.

The component categories are:
CPU
GPU
HDD/SSD
ODD
RAM
TEMP Monitors
FPS counters

if i missed any components just let me know,
and list the series of laptop programs/tweaks will work for.

thanks guys

CPU: torture test for stability with Prime95
GPU: bench/stability test with PassMark Performance Test (cpubenchmark.net), OC with MSI Afterburner Beta
HDD/SSD: test MB/s speed with hdparm
ODD: never tested
RAM: stability test with memtest86+, and occasionally with Prime95 blends
TEMP Monitors: speedfan, CPUID HWMonitor
