Framelife 3 Not Loading

Hi guys, bit of a trivial issue here. As strange as it may sound I'm trying to mess around with the inbuilt webcam to get a picture uploaded for the Fifa/EA Sports Game Face (yes it's a boring Sunday).

I've tried to open Framelife 3 and all that happens is the Framelife loading box appears and the small camera light comes on but that's it. I've left it for 20-30 mins while doing other things to see if it just needed time but no change.
I've uninstalled the drivers and also the Framelife program, restarted and re-installed but same issue.

Do you guys have any idea of the issue or can you walk me through resolving? Even if you know of other software that will control the camera and allow it to be used? I'm not fussed what application I use.

Thanks,
Henry

You can try the camera app built into Windows 8.x:

There are a few different ways to open the Camera app. If you're on Start, you can use the tile. If you're using other apps or are in the desktop, you can search for the app and open it from the search results. You can also open the Camera app right from the lock screen when you want to take a quick picture without signing in first.

If you're on Start
Tap or click the Camera tile.

If you're using another app or the desktop
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.)

Enter Camera in the search box, and then tap or click Camera in the results.

If your PC is locked
If you've signed into your PC and then locked it, you can open the Camera app by swiping down on the lock screen or clicking and dragging down.

If the camera doesn't open, you'll need to turn on using the camera from the lock screen. Go to PC settings, tap or click PC and devices, and then set Swipe down on the lock screen to use the camera to On.

If you still aren't getting a video feed, perhaps the camera isn't working or isn't connected.
