I've been having this issue with both a Z13 and a G14, and it is frustrating. It's happened more on the Z13, as I've had it longer, but the behavior is the same.
While doing anything, the screen will go black, and I lose all ability to interact with the system. No keyboard or mouse interaction, cannot wake it back up. But the fans are still blowing in the background. I know for a fact that it is not thermally shutting down, as I am doing nothing taxing on either system. The last time it happened on the Z13, I was on a video call, on balanced profile, with every update to the chipset and drivers installed. The G14, I left it on last night, downloading updates and a game, with the screen off, plugged in to AC power. Came back to it this morning, and I could not wake it up, but the fans were spinning as if the computer was under load.
Anyone else had these issues? I sort of want to suspect this is a Windows 11 issue, since the two computers that are doing that have very difference architectures, but the behavior is exactly the same. Any suggestions on what to try here? Windows logs don't show anything suspicious.
