If youre having the gpu fan locked at max rpm ac that glitch despite switching fan profiles like i was then try running DDU uninstaller in safe mode with wifi turned off. Then reinstall nvidia with version 552.44 since its the most stable with custom install and with clean install checked. Dont check geforce experience box just the graphic driver since the problem returned a few minutes after picking that one. This also resolved my fans spiking for 3 seconds then returning back to normal rpm. puttin this out there since this glitch made me want tear my laptop in half. Also before running DDU uninstaller make sure to uninstall anything nvidia in apps and features as this may have been the key to the fix
