Hi all

Got my Asus G73JH-A1 almost a year now and its being since 3 month that one of the fan make some noise now. I think is the CPU side, which is on the left side. The noise will start when start my laptop and after maybe 2 min the noise will stop.

Do you think I should replace that fan or wait until the noise go really bad?

Thanks for your reply.

You can try using canned air to blast the dust. Some people have reported less noise after a good cleaning. If you still get noise then that means that the bearing is starting to go out and the fan will need to be replaced.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Is it a very high-pitched noise? If so, I hear this is a known issue that effects the majority of Asus laptops, not just G73's.

Yeah I will only do it when I start the laptop for 1 or 2 min and it will stop. Even when I'm gaming it will not do it. I will try the air can to make sure that there is no dust. If it does not do anything I will use my last free RMA. I still got 1 years waranty so
