F4 on Asus Splash screen has no effect! Bootup continues regardless

Hello

I want to upgrade the bios using the Ezyflash method that requires one to reboot and press F4 immediately when the Asus splash screen appears, well, nothing! The G74 continues to load Windows 8.

I have tried to vary this, pressing F4 once, many times, holding it down etc, no effect.

Any suggestions? 🙂

Try pressing F2 at startup to enter the BIOS, then use the arrow keys to move to the EasyFlash utility.

hi, please press F2 into BIOS and move to advanced then select start easy flash.
also you can press ese to boot manual, then select enter setup into BIOS.
