Hello,
Recently i have purchased Samsung M2 250GB SSD (MZHPV256HDGL). I head only standard HD Drive in my G752VT Notebook.
When installed new SSD I was wondering how to move system from HD to SSD easiest way.
And I Found AOMEI Partition Assistant
http://www.disk-partition.com/. It has option to move OS to other partition available in Professional version.
Just need to select destination drive with empty space (Not initialized partition jet), and software makes all required steps to create bootable OS partition on selected drive. Then i head to go to bios options to select my new SSD as first boot device and that's all. System runs very fast now from my SSD.
Steps to upgrade to SSD Bootable OS:
1. Install SSD disk in Notebook.
2. Boot up old Windows 10 OS from HD.
3. Install AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional.
4. Clicked "Migrate OS to SSD or HDD" function in AOMEI.
5. Select unallocated space on Disk 2 (SSD).
6. Go thru wizard with Next and Finish buttons.
7. Click on Apply button on AOMEI main window.
8. Wait fro AOMEI to finish all tasks including system restart.
9. Change boot priorytry in bios to make SSD first boot.
10. Boot up OS from SSD and enjoy fast OS boot.
