Reinstall the Chipset (Core) Drivers

1. Put the installer infinst_autol.exe into a folder
2. Using Windows Explorer click on empty space in that folder
3. Shift +Right-click that empty space then select Open command window from the menu
4. In the Command Window type infinst_autol -overall and press enter
5. Allow the installer to do it's thing.
6. Restart Windows



The Safer Method to Flash a System BIOS

1. Format a USB drive to FAT32 format.
2. Download the new BIOS and unzip it to the USB drive.
3. Remove USB drive after you're certain the file transfer is complete.
4. Restart your notebook and while the ASUS logo is on the screen press F2 or del a few times to enter the BIOS setup.
5. Find the Easy Flash Utility and insert the USB drive. Tell Easy flash where your BIOS file is then follow directions explicitely!!!
6. When your notebook restarts, enter the BIOS Setup utility again and select "Load Optimized Defaults" (I think it's f9 )
7. Save and Exit, then continue into Windows.

It's a mix of drivers that applies to many G-series, particularly the current models. There are a lot of G-series models and configurations, so it would likely become an unwieldy mess to try and have separate drivers threads for all of them. Since most essential drivers overlap, it makes sense to keep the driver links as "central" as possible....that seems to be the most efficient approach for most owners.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I bought a used G73JH:

I7 - 720QM, 8 GB RAM, 2 x 500 GB HD, ATI 5870M, WIN 7 64 BIT

First i flasht a new Bios (213) and vBios (v93)

than i installed Win 7 Home Prem. from a MS DVD.

After Installing ATI CCC 11.12 Windows shows only "Standard VGA Graphic Card" and im not able to change the
resolution.

Its a fresh WIN Installation there are no other drivers there.

What's my fault? What do i have to do to install the CCC Driver correctly?!

VirusX, if you have not fixed your problem yet, try this. Uninstall CCC with 'Express Uninstall All AMD Software' option then Reboot, and reinstall CCC 12.1 or 12.2 pre-certified with 'Express' option.

I would like to suggest you move your recommendation from the Sentelic Touchpad 9.1.3.5 to the
Sentelic Touchpad 9.1.7.7 version (on the 1st page). Basing on the current user trending, seems like
the 9.1.7.7 version is more stable.. Thanks. 🙂

There have been several owners who found otherwise. Do you have the latest BIOS installed, and did you remove the previous driver before installing it?

If you want to give it another go, I'd suggest you try ths:

(1) make sure the BIOS is updated
(2) uninstall/remove the current touchpad driver & reboot
(3) install the Sentelic 9.1.7.7. driver & reboot
(4) do a repair install of ATK Package 1.0.0014


(As a side note, I've come to believe that this funky touchpad on/off thing is more about the ATK driver than the various touchad drivers themselves. The ATK driver has "hooks" that tie into other drivers...touchpad, WLAN, etc...and when the those associations are messed up, you get things like a touchpad that won't stay turned off. Just my own little theory.... ;))

Is anyone having issues with the 9.1.7.7 touchpad drivers? I'm not sure but I believe it’s the touchpad causing these weird issues i.e. opening 100s of tabs in my browser or opening the same application 100s of times :confused:.
