edit: So I talked to someone and apparently I can use the drivers I want to. I would just delete my post, but I don't see an option to.
I'm trying to fix a freezing but I'm having with some applications such as Steam, which I think may be caused by my video card drivers. Mostly, I think that because nothing else has worked.... This laptop has a GeForce GTX 260M. The latest drivers for it say "Notebooks supporting Hybrid Power technology are not supported (NVIDIA Optimus technology is supported)."
I need to know what "Hybrid Power technology" is and how to tell if I have it, so I can find the correct drivers.
(Incidentally, if anyone has had a bug where Steam freezes Windows 7 completely on launch, do tell me how you fixed it. But my drivers probably need updating anyway.)
