Coming Soon: G75VX

X-ROG
Level 15
This is an early heads up prior to our official announcement. We've been under Nvidia NDA until the GTX 670MX launched last week, but now we're still under ASUS NDA (which I'm breaking.. but with good reason imo) so please understand I can't really answer more questions.

For those who are contemplating a G75VW now, please take this info to help your buying decision: whether you want to buy a G75 now because it suits your needs and you need one now, or, wait for the G75VX and it's slight upgrades. Official announcement is about a month away, but depending on how long the G75 took to get to your region after that was announced, use that as a guide as to when you'll see the VX.

All I can say now is that the G75VX will feature the GTX 670MX (Google the performance relative to GTX 670M and see if it matters to you) and maybe you want to see here for another idea of what to expect, but I will stress to ignore any illusion of pricing you see until it's all properly confirmed.

However believe it or not we've still managed to keep a couple of other supplementary hardware upgrades secret, and for that you'll have to wait til later (or I really will lose my job). 😄

I would love this laptop as a replacement for my G75VW, which is currently still at the repair center, has
been 19 days since it left my local Harvey Norman and from what the sales guy said you guys usually return
repair jobs with in 2 weeks.
It's almost 3 weeks now, i know from the last time i sent it in that they were waiting for the replacement GPU which turned up
2 hrs after i phoned to get more info about how much longer it was going to take, but this time you guys haven't even phone me or the store
which called you asking for more info on what was happening.
I'm presuming as that it's taking so long your again waiting for the part to arrive or waiting for the replacement laptop.

Mine's at the Melbourne Repair Center, I can supply a serial number if one of the Aussie admin could look into it for me.

The 670mx is more cost effective and overclocks to te 689 base clocks just fine and is MUCH MUCH cheaper.

How about getting the GTX 680MX to fit in this baby 😉

I'll file down what ever I need to file down, I'll just what ever sized SSD's i need to used lol

I have the ASUS G75VX so my case is different size then you guy's have been posting
