Hey guys,
I have G75, it originally had Win 8, which I removed and Installed Win 7 (but I left Win 8 restore partition). There are two hard disks, each one is 500GB. I was not able to install win 7 on the disk where original Win 8 OS was since it said that it is a part of GPT partition and window's can't be installed to that disk, so I installed it on the other disk, but I deleted the original Win 8 OS partition (C drive). Now, I want to install Win 8 again by rebooting and pressing F9, but it only takes me to troubleshooting menu, and when I try to choose recover or restore options, it says that the partition required for this task doesn't exist.
It seems as if it can't access the recovery partition, which is still located on the disk.
Is there any way I can restore Win 8?
I managed to copy install.wim file also so I wanted to try using ImageX if everything else fails.
