Can someone help me reset my G751JY to it's factory settings?

So I somehow managed to give my poor baby aids. Boot up times are really slow, everything is slow, I messed up bad, guys.
Now I need to reset her to her factory out-of-the-box settings. Can anyone point me in the right direction of doing this?
Disk Manager shows that my 250Gb SSD has a 12 GB Healthy Recovery Partition.

So far I've gathered that you hold Down F9 during a boot up to get to the recovery screen, or hold down shift as you click restart in the Metro Screen.

I just need some help With how to do this, is all. Do I have to pre download drivers? Do I need any disks? USB? Files?

My goal is to reset it to COMPLETE factory settings. Total system wipe.

Check if you have the folder "eSupport" in C:/ there is every factory drivers that recovery uses to reset your baby! 😉

Hi Xuphra,
You need to create a recovery USB with the Asus Backtracker. ( f9 option no longer works with W8/8.1 )
You will also need a good 16GB USB Flash thumb drive, I use the SanDisk USB Ultra 3.0 Flash Drive.

I actually held down Shift and clicked on the restart button. Then just followed the "reset" system option from the startup screen. Worked flawlessly. Thanks for the replies though guys.

You hit the nail on the head.

I would advise that you do get an 'offline' backup just incase something happens to your recovery partition though. There are several free options including Asus Backtracker.

It is always a good idea to have a solid backup solution apart from system restore. It only take one time of loosing important data to drive that home. Just think of the data you have and think what it would be like if it was all to disappear... for most it ends up worth the time and expense to have proper backups. It isn't something you want to learn from loss on 😉

But the "reset option" what windows offers removes all files and apps, and doesn't bring you back to the "Asus out of the box factory condition".
The Asus Backtracker software will recover from the Asus recovery partition. (Windows reset doesn't)
You may have to reinstall some apps, and drivers from Asus for your system to work properly.
Windows usually puts a folder on your desktop that contains a list of items that needs to be reinstalled.
I used my Backtracker USB several times without a problem, and it returned my JZ to the out of the box condition flawlessly.

(Nothing else was need to do, all apps , and all drivers was restored)
Edit PS: It may be best to create the "Backtracker USB Recovery Flash Drive" , just in case your have a major OS drive failure.
